ABOUT
Dr. Marc Bernbach is a podiatrist/foot doctor. He has been in the practice of podiatric medicine and surgery for over 20 years. Dr. Bernbach completed an extensive residency in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery. Areas of interest include forefoot/rearfoot surgery including bunion, hammertoe, heel, flatfoot, and revisional surgery. He has been the Chairman of the Podiatric section, Department of Surgery at Waterbury Hospital for over 10 years. Dr. Bernbach was Site Director for the St. Francis Hospital Podiatric Surgical Residency – at Waterbury Hospital.
He has been appointed to both the community faculty of Yale University School of Medicine as well as received the title of Lecturer in Medicine from Yale University School of Medicine. Dr. Bernbach is board certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery in Reconstructive Foot and Ankle Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. He has authored numerous papers and textbook chapters on foot surgery. Dr. Bernbach has been recognized as a Top Doc by Connecticut Magazine for many consecutive years. He has lectured extensively on foot surgery nationally as well as internationally.
